Description: I filmed myself throughout August of 2020 as I finished my last summer before I started college at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. I wanted to capture my transition from summer into becoming a college freshman during a pandemic while also attempting to take a summer art college held by my college. The summer of 2020 was truly unpredictable for everyone and I wanted to capture that shift of normality and attempt to stay busy to distract ourselves from uncertainty. Even though all of my footage was filmed in the summer, I was not able to edit it into a final video until January of next year. I convey that time difference in a reflective voiceover about how I feel about the summer of 2020 a few months later and in my spring semester of college.
